1. Project Background

The Russian customer serves heavy machinery, shipbuilding and bridge projects, with growing demand for 5–18mm plate blanks. To shorten delivery times and reduce reliance on external cutting services, they decided to establish an in-house thick plate CTL center with two lines.

2. Solution & Key Parameters

We designed and supplied two 5–18mm × 2000mm heavy plate CTL lines, each with heavy-duty uncoiling, powerful leveling and high-rigidity shear frames to ensure straightness and cutting quality on high-strength thick plates.

After commissioning, the two lines enable the user to serve different projects simultaneously with heavy plate blanks, significantly shortening production cycles for critical engineering plates and enhancing their overall service capability in the Russian and neighboring heavy steel structure markets.
