1. Project Background

This Indian service center supplies 0.5–3.5mm strips in various widths to stamping shops, tube mills and cable tray manufacturers. Their single slitter-head line suffered from long tooling changeover times, so under frequent size changes actual output was far below theoretical capacity.

We delivered a 0.5–3.5mm × 2000mm double-head slitting line with 200m/min speed, using two slitter heads to allow “offline setup + online quick change,” dramatically reducing downtime during tool changeovers.
